Originally from Rockford, IL, photographer Winnie Au now lives in Brooklyn, NY, where she spends her time capturing people, animals, food, and the spaces where all of these things live. She is a regular contributor to publications such as Elle, GQ, Bon Appetit, Refinery 29, and the New York Times. She has also collaborated with many commercial clients such as Coca-Cola, Target, Amazon, eBay, and Old Navy. Winnie’s work has been selected as the winner of American Photography, PDN Photo Annual, PDN’s 30, and the Communication Arts Annual. She loves mac and cheese, bicycles, french-pressed coffee, being outside when it’s not allergy season, houseboats, and her basset hound Clementine.
