About the Artwork:
Cacti are beautiful yet tough. I’m drawn to their resilience and strength, and moving to Joshua Tree, CA has only furthered my obsession. In order to study the cacti in my new environment, I set out to paint one cactus every day and learn their common names along the way. Painting these cacti became my daily meditation. - Sara Combs
