Jim Houser – “Search Party” @ Jonathan Levine
A couple weekends ago in New York, painter Jim Houser opened a new exhibition at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery. Search Party was the fourth solo from the Philadelphia-based artist with the Chelsea showspace and featured a series of eight new works and a site-specific installation. Those familiar with Houser’s work will recognize his signature visual language and iconography in these new works as well as the many intriguing collage and playful sculptural components.
