Join Jail Guitar Doors USA in its mission to improve the productive rehabilitation of inmates in the US prison system by buying PCP's newest [and tax deductible] print! Buy the print here, now!
JAIL GUITAR DOORS USA is about the productive rehabilitation of prison inmates and justice reform in the USA. We're concerned, and guess what... You can help! Join in to carry the message to at least some of the 2 million men and women currently in prison in America today. Half of America's prisoners are doing time for non-violent drug offenses and will eventually rejoin our society and, who knows, maybe move in next door. Money raised from the sale of the prints will be used to buy guitars for our next trip into a prison near you.
These are beautifully designed gig poster screen prints are for the first official Jail Guitar Doors USA show that took place at SXSW Music Conference on March 19, 2010 at The Ghost Room in Austin, Texas.
Each and every print has been signed by Billy Bragg, Tom Morello, Boots Riley, Chris Shiflett, Lisa Kekaula, and Wayne Kramer.
The purchase of this print is a tax-deductible donation for you since JGD-USA is a 501(c)(3) charity. Money raised from the sale of the prints will be used to buy guitars for our next trip into a prison near you.
A message from Wayne Kramer:
"I know prison reform isn't exactly at the top of the list of favorite topics of conversation during the holidays. We all have busy lives and there's plenty in the world to be concerned about, but I also know that there are a lot of people who are interested in seeing our country live up to its precious principles of justice and equality. So, Jail Guitar Doors is making this conversation one about positive change, and you can help us by joining in to carry the message. If you'd like to support the JGD-USA mission, consider this fine gift for your justice loving friends and family who also happen to rock."
