NATIVE by Word To Mother

PCP is excited to announce a new addition to our artist roster; British artist, Word To Mother.  We’ve been following Word To Mother for years and love his use of hand drawn personal sentiments executed in the form of loose script and inspired from his experience as a tattoo artist and years of painting graffiti.

Word To Mother’s artwork combines many influences into uniquely layered paintings shown through subtle textures and washes of color fused with his signature patterns, architecture & figures. His work is moody yet playful. With an earthy palette of grey tones, splashes of brighter colors like fluorescent reds and turquoise, give the paintings an optimistic feel.

NATIVE was originally a mural (his largest to date), executed in Berlin last year. "This image was inspired by the spirit of Native American beliefs; a symbol of freedom. It represents love, light, and hope; a time when we lived one with nature…" 

NATIVE is Word To Mother’s first ever print edition. It’s available in a limited edition of 100 along with a more exclusive color way and hand-drawn elements, in an artist edition of 30.

This eight-color, large scale (24 x 36 inches) silkscreen print edition is crafted in Los Angeles using the finest paper and archival inks.  All prints are signed by Word To Mother, numbered and exclusive to PCP, validated by a certificate of authenticity.
