Art Rental Handling Fee
Rental Fee
- You agree to pay 10% of the artwork’s retail price per month plus a $200 handling & rental fee per order.
- The $200 fee covers preparation, handling, and administrative work.
Rental Period
- The rental period begins on the date you receive the artwork and ends on the agreed return date.
- Extensions will be charged via invoice 2 days prior monthly end and will be charged at the same monthly rental rate.
- A one-month minimum rental applies, even if you return the artwork early.
Return of Unused Artwork
- You have 48 hours from the pickup date to return any artwork you are not using. Artwork returned after this 48-hour window will be billed at the full rental rate.
Delivery & Installation
- Delivery, pickup, and installation fees are billed separately.
- Any special handling (e.g., oversized pieces, stairs, tight access) must be disclosed before delivery.
Insurance
- You may be required to provide proof of insurance (Certificate of Insurance) naming PCP as the loss payee for the full retail value of the artwork.
Loss or Damage
- You are responsible for the full retail price of any artwork that is lost, stolen, or damaged beyond repair.
- If repairable, you will cover the full cost of professional restoration.
Use & Location
- Artwork must remain at the agreed location and may not be moved or sub-rented without our written permission.
- Artwork must not be altered in any way.
Sales During Rental
- If a client wishes to purchase a rented artwork, we reserve the right to end the rental early with at least 4 days notice. You will be charged rental fees up to the date of pickup.
Return Condition
- Artwork must be returned in its original packaging or equivalent protective wrapping.
- All hanging hardware, certificates, and accessories must be returned.
Security Deposit
- A refundable security deposit of 50–100% of the artwork’s retail value may be required before delivery. The deposit will be returned after the artwork is inspected and confirmed to be in original condition.
