‘Children of a Lesser God’ furthers the artist’s exploration into notions of control and release as well as the fundamental need for survival, love and liberty. Vaughn’s new works manifest these concepts through bleak, dystopian cityscapes juxtaposed with child-like imagery and untouched scenes of nature.
Through the contrast of minutely detailed wildlife and child superheroes against urban backdrops, Vaughn’s new body of work provides an eerily familiar setting that both comforting and and inspiring. Come enjoy the experience with us.

Opening Reception, April 13, 2011: Wednesday night, hundreds came out for the highly anticipated opening of Judith Supine’s solo exhibition, LADYBOY held at New Image Art Gallery in West Hollywood. The gallery was transformed into a neon wonderland of the surreal – every inch of the space covered in Judith’s hand painted wallpaper and highlighted with large-scale sculptures hanging off the walls. True to the namesake of the show; ladyboys were abundantly present, swarming throughout the sea of guests…truly a memorable night for all that attended. This is a show you must see for yourself to believe, so if you didn’t make it to the opening, be sure to plan a visit soon!
